Jim Rambo is an Investment Advisor with Allegheny Financial Group’s Asset Management Group. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, he served as the Director of Portfolio Research for JKS Financial. Jim works with institutions, families, and individuals in developing investment policies and implementing investment portfolios.
Jim is also a member of the Investment Research Group and serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. He leads Allegheny’s research efforts related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) as well as impact investing.
Jim is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and member of the Pittsburgh CFA Society’s Emerging Leadership Group. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
Jim has served as a mentor to many students and young professionals seeking careers in finance. He enjoys spending his personal time with his daughter and son, coaching soccer, camping, cooking, and being active.
