Charles D. Wingert is a Financial Advisor with Allegheny Investments who specializes in creating and implementing investment portfolios for retirement, education, and non-profit endowments.
Mr. Wingert earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh’s Executive MBA program. He also earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received Phi Beta Kappa (arts and sciences) and Tau Beta Pi (engineering) scholastic honors. Mr. Wingert also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Muhlenberg College.
Charlie has used his expertise to guide investments, and analyze business and personal options. With his diverse background, Charlie can tailor financial analyses to his client’s needs, and provide illustrations of their alternative financial paths to guide their choices. Moreover, his degree in Psychology is indicative of his personal interest in his clients.
Mr. Wingert has been helping clients with their investments since 1995. He has presented seminars and workshops on the financial principles key to retirement and saving for college. Charlie’s prior experience in business and engineering enables him to understand the trends that will affect his clients’ investments.
Prior to his financial work with clients, Mr. Wingert was the President of an engineering company. He led engineering and software groups, organized taskforces, developed products, and gave talks in the U.S and Europe. Charlie served his country as an Army Ordnance Officer.
Mr. Wingert is the past Treasurer and currently serves on the Executive Board of a non-profit organization in western Pennsylvania dedicated to reading and math literacy.
